Characteristics of Agency

Many species are sufficiently different from one another that their minds may work in entirely different ways from those common to humanoid life. As such, some characteristics are detailed here - for the purpose of helping to identify when a species, being or system may posses or lack these defining behavioral characteristics as to better understand their actions.

It should be noted that not all species actually have these characteristics, hence why they are explained on such a fundamental level - to help understand how other worldly intelligence may work.
