Lor Star System
The system is a Red Giant type star which was carried in to this dimension from another. At present it's inhabitants are in the process of securing their territory and looking over their shoulder to see if anything has fallen on the road on the way here.
This is the system in which the homeworld of the Lorath Matriarchy is found. The planet Lor. Here the Tur'lista administrate the Matriarchy from the undamaged half of the planet.
Getting To/From Lor
Located in the far far galactic south east (anti-spinward, edgeward), the existence of the star system is so new in the universe that the light and gravity of its star have not yet reached any of the neighbouring native systems.
At present there is no official travel between Lor and any non-Lorath held systems, however for a point of reference the system is located approximately 1700 light years from Aleph Null, a six month journey for even the fastest faster than light starships.

Planets
The Lor system has five planets, and eight moons. Five around the outermost planet, one around the fourth, and three circling Lor (formerly four). The Lor system has a handful of settlements on the other planetary bodies in the system, but none of them are big. Third planet of the system is volcanic, rich in resources functional as a mining world.
Lor
The planet Lor is both the homeworld of the Lorath and Helashio races, and the capital planet of the Lorath Matriarchy. The planet has many major cities on its surface, but these are the survivors from multiple large destruction events.
Many cities on Lor are at least partly subterranean and sometimes wholly, a hang over from their underground history. The modern caverns are kept brightly lit into fantastic glitter domes with the once cramped hovels being converted into small townhouses for the upper-class.

Places
Double Land
The capital region of planet Lor, the capital city is located where the Lorath first emerged from their underground exile and began their crusade to subjugate to surface dwelling helashio. It remains the most built up and populated region of the planet with the most momuments, temples.
The capital city is built around the artifical plateu upon which the Xiaah's temple-palace rests, surrounded by many key locations such as the Matritheca Apostolica Sanctus Main Archive temple and several important historical shrines.
The Templars Square, Quadratum Templariorum, ancient parade ground and marshalling yard in front of the Xiaah's palace is usually open to the public.
The capitol area isn't so much used for production, but as a site of pilgramage, worship, and hedonism. Visiting pilgrims, oaths of poverty or not, will tend to enjoy themselves and bask in the Goddess's affection during their stay.
Energy Land
Formerly the partially built up area containing helashio reserves, hydroponic farms, and orchards along with light industry and fisheries.
The Zone
The impact of the Moonfall has left vast ecological damage to a large area of the planet. The immediate impact area is still glowing hot as the moons fractured core continues to release waste heat. The debris shower destroyed large ranches and sprawling farms and light towns and cities in the former region. Most of the surviving inhabitants of this region were resettled upon the P5M3 colony, the remaining hard-bitten inhabitants, too stubborn to leave, survive on the fringes, fighting nature and hanging on despite it all.
Sometimes strange phenomena are reported in the area. The LSDF keeps a small security force to maintain order among the survivors and restrain people from the smoking remains of the moonfall since intruders attempt to make heretical pilgrimages or threatening to destroy it.
Munfaleng is the current name for the slowly sprouting region, as informed by the local dialect.
History
The Lorath Home World was once a cold, ice covered, and barren planet, which once was unable to support most life, other than various complex bacterial strains which lived beneath the ice, and viral strings of chemical compounds. Eventually, the Lor system’s sun ended its yellow star phase, and became a red giant. After this change, this planet which was once the fifth planet from the Lor sun, became the second, and was now close enough to the surface of the star to gain the heat and light which was needed to thaw the ice covered surface of the planet, yet not turn the surface into a pressure cooker of vapor.
After the thawing of the surface, and 3000 million years, the primitive ancestors to the modern lorath species came into existence, along with the ancestors of a primitive sentient species dubbed the Helashio. After 50,000 years of co-existence and development between these two species, famine caused a war between the two species. After this war, the ancestors of the Lorath were driven beneath the surface of the planet, where they continued to develop and refine their culture without interruption for 5000 years. After the 5000 years of imprisonment, the Lorath which were imprisoned beneath the surface of Lor then broke free from their prison in an aggressive assault on the Helashio whom controlled the surface at the time. During this assault, the Lorath forced a climate change which intensified the cloud layer of the planet, along with the greenhouse gasses, thus darkening the surface, while containing the surface heat.
After a twenty five year ground war, the Lorath have managed to subdue the Helashio and place them into servitude, and from that point, the Lorath have developed and refined their culture on the surface of Lor. Soon after taking their place on the surface of Lor, the Lorath then reached to the stars above their home world, and expanded to the outer most rim of their star system, and soon after, encountered their first alien race, the [REDACTED], soon followed by the [ULTRA REDACTED]. During a conflict between the [SUPER ULTRA HIGHLY REDACTED], one of the volcanic moons orbiting the gas giant of the Lor system was then dropped on the surface of the Lorath home world, thus altering the surface into a smoldering heap of volcanic rock, glass, and a rapidly changing eco-system.
Planet 5
The interesting feature of the gas giant of the Lor system is its unusual refractive properties which seems to catch the Lor sun’s light, then focus and refract it, thus shining a light upon its moons which would be equivalent to being 1 AU from a stable yellow star. Along with this unusual feature, the gas giant holds a rich quantity of hydrogen, and serves as an excellent source of electrical power if the proper means were used to harness the lightning which strikes its orbiting moons from time to time.
P5M3 Moon Colony
Built after a previous disaster, the Moon Colony resides on the arid moon around the P5 gas giant. Unfortunately the high density of hydrogen means all residents are required to wear eye protection and sun screen at all times outside due to the high light levels of its highly reflective surface.
The colony is made from permanent prefabricated shelters and is slowly beginning to settle. Many of the residents formally lived on the capital planet, mostly survivors from the worst affected regions of the moon drop.
The arid nature of the moon leaves few obvious clues to continents other than mountains and canyons, small, highly saline seas dot the surface. The frozen plains around the poles provide the best access to water and so many of the initial settlements are scattered within these two thin bands between the Freeze and the Fry.
More than a few of the settlements have also gone underground if easy accommodation for such is available. Either as shallow housing warrens, or more deeply in bored tunnels and excavated caverns re-purposed for civilized use.
There are no other sentient lifeforms on the moon, and most life is barely past primitive multi-cell organisms. The lack of water making widespread life very slow to form.
