Danmaku

Networked plasma or 'Danmaku' combines an assortment of different Advanced Plasma Weapon Technologies to create a reactive barrage of plasma weaponized events. Rounds converge and react against one another, creating a complex pattern of anywhere from dozens to hundreds of shots with live reacting fire solutions.

In practice, danmaku are equal parts surpressive fire solutions and equal parts jamming and area denial - forcing enemies back, interfering with advanced systems, sensors and communications and when properly striking a target dealing remarkable damage.

Typically, individual shots move very slowly - in intricate and complex if beautiful but deadly patterns. Skilled pilots may weave between the patterns, discovering blind-spots as they emerge and occupying the gap though typically this is quite exhaustively difficult.
