Lorthet
The Lorthet are a small avian animal native to Lor that is closely genetically related to pre-eugenic Lorath. Individuals range from 1.6 to 2.5 ft with some breeds peaking at 3ft tall, covered in articulated feathers which are used to create complex visual displays. They have intelligence roughly equivalent to a pre-pubescent child and as such are known for causing trouble.

Lorthet are native to subtropical regions of Lor though individuals or groups are known to get lost and wander into other latitudes.
They are among the few animals that have thrived in the urban environments constructed following the return of the Lorath to the surface and their numbers swell in proximity to cities making them something of an urban pest.
