Delras
Delras is the second planet in the system, a rocky world with vast deserts and lava flows dotting the surface. It sports a moderate atmosphere, though it is mostly carbon dioxide. Official Raiken presence on this planet is minimal; small mining posts dotting the surface. The only moon of Delras, Arril, is a popular hideout for smugglers and bandits of the Alliance. In a sense, Arril is the only independent object in Crias'roshya. The Alliance does not attempt to manage it at this point in time.
Type: Desert, Rock
Orbital Radius: 0.65 AU
Period: 0.56 earth years
Gravity: 7.32 m/s^2 (0.75 x earth)
Atmosphere: As the atmosphere is mostly carbon dioxide, a breathing mask with oxygen is required.
Temperature Range: During the night and midday, temperatures are lethal. The space between however hovers around 38C.
Planetary Population: Less than 1 million
Natural Satellites: 1 Rocky Moon
Artificial Satellites: None
Facilities:
Mining: (Arril and Delras) Light - Unorganized and Illegal Mining. Mostly Smugglers and Independents.
Residental: (Arril) Small - Scattered Towns, all independent.
Military: Light - Small patrols of Alliance Warships patrol this planet, but they do not interact with the inhabitants.
Spaceports: (Arril) Light - Makeshift spaceports capable of maintaining and docking shuttles.
Other: (Arril) Plenty of hideaways, smuggler dens, bandit cities, and black markets.
Ranil'inas
Ranil'inas is the home of the Raiken. It is a tidally locked planet, meaning that as it orbits around Crias'roshya, one side of the planet is always facing the sun while the other is always facing away from the sun. One side of the planet is left in darkness, leaving it to freeze, while the other side is constantly baked by the sun. Only the middle band of the planet is habitable, though some Raiken have evolved to survive on either side of the planet. In the center of the habitable strip, the Kalil vi S'aeruz rages. The Kalil vi S'aeruz (Band of Storms) is a band where thunderstorms and high winds are almost a constant. More details can be found on the planet's wiki page.
Type: Tidally Locked Garden
Orbital Radius: 0.88 AU
Period: 0.86 earth years
Gravity: 12.14 m/s^2 (1.24 x earth)
Atmosphere: (Any Special gear required to breathe here? Is it even possible to be here without a space suit?)
Temperature Range: (Average Temperature of the Planet. If it is either too hot or too cold to land on, mark it as such, rather than providing a temperature)
Planetary Population: Approximately 5.4 Billion
Natural Satellites: 2 Moons (Rel and Ral)
Artificial Satellites: (Any satellites that were made. This includes Orbital Shipyards, Spaceports, Stations, Defense Platforms, or anything else of the like.)
Facilities:
Agriculture: Medium - Small farms operated by clans. Expansive farms operated by the Alliance. Plenty of food for everyone.
Mining: Medium - Since scaling back on mining their own planet, mining presence has fallen off. Some smaller scale industrial mining exists.
Industry: Medium - Factories capable of producing anything the Alliance needs.
Residential: Medium - Scattered cities that are massive in size, but large tracks of untouched land.
Commercial: Medium - Markets present in all cities, which offer a wide variety of wares.
Military: Large - Dedicated Defense Fleet and Orbital Defenses.
Shipyards: Large - Expansive planet-side and orbital shipyards. Capable of building the largest vessels.
Spaceports: Large - Several large planet-side spaceports, along with several orbital ports. Capable of docking large vessels.
Rakava
Rakava is the first planet to be colonized by the Raiken. The environment is far less hostile than that of Ranil'inas. The Raiken are somewhat bothered by the cooler temperatures and lower gravity, but the atmosphere composition is very similar to their homeworld. There are sizable cities dotting the surface, though nothing near the size of the Raiken capital on Ranil'inas, Sial'roshya. Military infrastructure is significant on the surface and in orbit around the planet. The moon is for exclusive military use, where experimental weapons are tested and researched. It could be argued that the moon is better defended than the planet itself.
Type: Garden
Orbital Radius: 1.41 AU
Period: 1.76 earth years
Gravity: 10.02 m/s^2 (1.02 x earth)
Atmosphere: (Any Special gear required to breathe here? Is it even possible to be here without a space suit?)
Temperature Range: (Average Temperature of the Planet. If it is either too hot or too cold to land on, mark it as such, rather than providing a temperature)
Planetary Population: Approximately 1.6 Billion
Natural Satellites: 1 Rocky Moon
Artificial Satellites: (Any satellites that were made. This includes Orbital Shipyards, Spaceports, Stations, Defense Platforms, or anything else of the like.)
Facilities:
Agriculture: Large - Expansive farms owned and operated by the Alliance. Plenty of food for everyone and plenty to send elsewhere.
Mining: Medium - Large scale industrial mining, though nothing large enough to permanently damage the ecosystem.
Industry: Medium - Factories capable of producing anything the Alliance needs.
Residential: Medium - Scattered cities that are massive in size, but large tracks of untouched land.
Commercial: Medium - Markets present in all cities, which offer a wide variety of wares.
Military: Medium - Dedicated Defense Fleet and a handful of orbital defense platforms.
Shipyards: Medium - Planet-side shipyards. Capable of building many different ships.
Spaceports: Medium - Several large planet-side spaceports, along with a few orbital ports. Capable of docking most vessels.
Rolas Ista
Rolas Ista is an asteroid belt that separates the 'inner planets' from the 'outer planets'. The Raiken have been mining it for some time and their infrastructure on the belt is substantial. Unsavory characters also call this belt their home, occasionally raiding a mining ship every now and then.
Orbital Radius: 2.59 AU
Period: 4.40 earth years
Planetary Population: Less than 1 million
Facilities: Several Mining Stations, Refineries, and Fueling Stations are scattered throughout the belt. A handful of military outposts inside the larger asteroids are present as well. A few very secret bases also reside here.
* Facilities:
Mining: Medium - Mining stations are scattered throughout the belt, hollowing out asteroids for their precious metals.
Industry: Small - Small-scale factories refine some of the ores into usable metals.
Military: Small - The Alliance regularly patrols the belt but keeping an eye on everything is difficult, even with small bases scattered throughout it. A few more secretive bases are also hidden here, used mostly for weapons testing and questionable activities.
Spaceports: Medium - Several stations outside the belt allow freighters and medium-class warships to dock. Smaller spaceports are present in asteroids.
Other: Rolas Ista is rife with smugglers and pirates, as asteroids are ideal for hiding from authority. Hideouts and small cities are present.
Ormak
Ormak is the only gas giant in the Crias'roshya system, making it a valuable resource to the Alliance. Since its atmosphere is comprised of mostly hydrogen and helium, the Alliance have been 'mining' it for fusion reactor fuel. There are several mining platforms and fueling stations that are guarded by the military.
Type: Gas Giant
Orbital Radius: 4.26 AU
Period: 9.28 earth years
Gravity: 19.62 m/s^2 (2 x earth)
Atmosphere: Atmosphere is toxic, rich in hydrogen and helium.
Temperature Range: Too cold for surface contact.
Planetary Population: Less than 200,000
Natural Satellites: 4 Moons, 1 Ice Rock, 1 Toxic, 1 Rocky, 1 Desert
Artificial Satellites: Several orbital mining platforms and a central orbital spaceport.
Facilities:
Mining: Medium - Several orbital platforms gather gases to be used as fuel for starships and reactors.
Military: Small - Several patrols of smaller warships keep an eye on the area. A small orbital platform for military warships is present with defenses.
Spaceports: Medium - Orbital spaceport is capable of docking large freighters to ship valuable gases back to Rakava and Ranil'inas for processing. Fueling stations are also present here.
Other: Pirates and smugglers tend to hole up in Ormak's moons, hoping to catch an undefended transport for fuel.
Rela
Rela is the last planet in the Crias'roshya system. At first glance, it seems to be a giant ball of ice, holding very little of interest. However, past the thick layer ice, Rela is rich in rock and metal. Although Rela is extremely cold and has a very thin atmosphere, the Raiken have still set up some small operations on the planet, mining through the ice to reach the precious metals below.
Type: Ice Rock
Orbital Radius: 8.65 AU
Period: 26.84 earth years
Gravity: 12.14 m/s^2 (1.24 x earth)
Atmosphere: Little to No Atmosphere. Outside of structures, a full environment suit is required.
Temperature Range: Too cold for prolonged surface contact. Must be within heated structures on the planet.
Planetary Population: Less than 100,000
Natural Satellites: 3 Moons, 1 Ice/Oceanic and 2 Ice/Rock
Artificial Satellites: None
Facilities:
Mining: Small - Small-scale industrial mining. Construction machines and professional set-up.
Military: Light - Patrols of smaller class vessels keep an eye on the area.
Spaceports: Small - Capable of docking shuttles and small transport vessels. Primarily used to transport valuable ore off-planet.
Other: Temporary smuggler/pirate dens. Pirates occasionally make attempts on the poorly defended transports for valuable metals.
