Hici'emi System

The Hici'emi system is located in the Lorath Cluster, the core group of systems belonging to the Lorath Matriarchy.

The Hici'emi system is placed adjacent to the Nyli system, and is the third most colonized and developed system in the Lorath Matriarchy, used by the Matriarchy as a Helashio reserve colony, as well as an additional colony system.

Hici'emi II

  • Terrain: Arid Terrestrial Class L
  • Atmosphere: Oxygen, Hydrogen, Nitrogen
  • Primary Composition: Iron, nickel, silica
  • Moons: One volcanic
  • Distance From Star: .95 AU
  • Notable Features: Hici'emi II's surface is nearly completely lacking in water, with a mere 10% of the planet's surface having any liquid water available. The planet's average temperature tends to remain above 40 degrees Celsius at all times.

Hici'emi III

  • Terrain: Garden Terrestrial (Tropical) Class M
  • Atmosphere: Oxygen, Hydrogen, Nitrogen
  • Primary Composition: Iron, nickel, silica
  • Moons: Four; Barren, Barren, Aquatic/Ice, Volcanic
  • Distance From Star: 1.5 AU
  • Notable Features: 90% of Hici'emi III's surface is comprised of swampy grasslands and forests. Biological growth has reached a point of yielding early mammal species, including various primates and semi-sentient aquatic mammals and amphibians.

Hici'emi IV

  • Terrain: Garden Terrestrial (Tropical) Class M
  • Atmosphere: Oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen.
  • Primary Composition: Iron, nickel
  • Moons: Four moons, three realitively barren, one terrestrial (earth-like).
  • Distance From Star: 1.9 AU
  • Notable Features: Hici'emi IV has been selected as the planet that will be used for a Helashio preserve, where the wild and free roaming Helashio which once wandered Lor will be released by the Lorath and into realitive freedom. Hici'emi IV's terrestrial moon will be utilized as a Lorath colony, which will have the task of monitoring and observing the Helashio placed on Hici'emi IV.

Hici'emi V

  • Terrain: Gas Giant Class J
  • Atmosphere: Helium, Hydrogen, Carbon-dioxide, Carbon-monoxide, trace vapors of various minerals, oxygen.
  • Primary Composition: Iron, nickel, titanium, various heavy metals
  • Moons: Two moons, both terrestrial with toxic atmospheres.
  • Distance From Star: 2.5 AU
  • Notable Features: None at this time.

Hici'emi VI

Jimmy's Note: Disregarding the hard science impossibility, I need to work on this one some more.

  • Terrain: Gas Giant/Aquatic
  • Atmosphere: Helium, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Carbon-Dioxide, Silica, Iron
  • Primary Composition: Various heavy metal core
  • Moons: Eight moons, Two toxic, one methane ice, two ice with various toxic compounds, two barren, and one volcanic/aquatic
  • Distance From Star: 3 AU
  • Notable Features: Hici'emi VI has a rather unusual atmosphere, due to the density of the gasses and particles of Hici'emi, the lower portions of the atmosphere have liquified or solidified into solid land masses. The result of this is a series of islands which seem to float in the atmosphere of Hici'emi.

Hici'emi's atmosphere is breathable, but due to the atmospheric pressure, it is suggested that individuals immigrating from Hici'emi to other planets go through a decompression process prior to leaving to prevent gas pockets from forming inside of their brain tissues (the bends).
