The [name] is a custom humanoid chassis designed and constructed by Isthmau Taa'uotl Paar'enil aided by the expertise and resources of the Lorath Matriarchy.
Development History
The development of the chassis took place over 18 months of real time and 3 years of computer time, utilizing resources accumulated by Isthmau as well as those hired from the Matriarchy late in its development cycle.
The base components of the chassis were taken from a custom ordered vat grown, heavily genetically modified Helashio body sourced in part from mining labour stock, as well as a premium model SILVER series android unit. During the development process many components from both bodies were discarded and some wholly replaced by external components or analogues with modified functionality, however the core of the hardware can be traced back to these two sources.
This chassis began its development as a custom ordered genetically spliced Helashio body sourced from mining stock, and a SILVER series android unit. At this point the two bodies were combined with many of the parts discarded in an attempt to streamline the form and function of the body without sacrificing performance.
A huge emphasis has been placed on survival and most systems are geared toward ensuring that the chassis provides as many options as possible to keep it in one piece, or failing that continue moving even after suffering large amounts of damage.
As the architecture used in her former body was deemed unsuitable, restrictive, and potentially vulnerable, efforts were undertaken to provide a new, custom written architecture to support the processing and data handling needs of the new chassis. Sourcing architectural inspiration from the ARIA series, SILVER series, and the Lorath Neural OS, the processing system borrows many technical refinements in the emulation and support of sapience in an artificial unit. With its foundation building blocks secure the freedom to craft the processing architecture into something new, providing the capacity to self modify and improve in real time, as well as utilizing uncommon, or at times seemingly counter-intuitive design philosophy to differentiate and secure the processing system to mitigate the already unlikely threat of an electronic attack.
Unconventional processing architecture prevents external systems from running code on it. Uses carefully controlled emulated OS environments to interact with foreign systems. ??

Processing System

As a distinctive upgrade, the standard processor has been replaced with the synthetic brain-processor of a full-synthetic late-model ARIA, which has been modified to directly accept a copy of Tamamo's original neurological 'Soul' data from her Nekovalkryja body.
Information
Tamamo's modification of the SILVER type chassis includes the replacement of the standard limited processing unit incorporated into the base model SILVER. As a distinctive upgrade, the standard processor has been replaced with the synthetic brain-processor of a full-synthetic late-model ARIA, which has been modified to directly accept a copy of Tamamo's original neurological 'Soul' data from her Nekovalkryja body. This upgraded processor works in tandem with the SILVER's neural processor packs provides the chassis impressive primary computational power.
Unsatisfied with the vulnerability of a single centralized processing suite a secondary and tertiary system has been installed to improve survivability of the chassis in the event of damage that would otherwise prove fatal. The secondary system consists of a binary pair of processors installed in the pelvic cradle of the unit, while the tertiary system is a low performance decentralized system that sacrifices the capability for powerful processing in order to achieve durability and redundancy not available with more impressive processing solutions.
Processors
Primary
The primary processor consists of a fully synthetic, modified, late-generation ARIA type processor that is incorporated into a removable cranial braincase. This processor is mated to the chassis' neural processor packs and works in tandem with them to provide impressive processing capabilities.
Neural Processor Packs
Much like a standard SILVER android the chassis includes supplementary neural processing packs to provide additional flexibility and processing power when needed.
Secondary
A parallel pair of modified ARIA type processing units sit in a pelvic braincase structure, one on either side, nestled in the safety of the large bone. These mimic the primary processor in all ways except for the lack of neural processor packs. These are the first line of redundancy and are able to seamlessly take over in the event of primary processor failure. These units typically run in parallel with the primary braincase to ensure that in the event of complete destruction of the primary unit, and possibly even the emergency backup, that the individual can continue operating without interruption. Beyond this the secondary processors provide additional processing power, and another avenue for multi-tasking should it be needed.
Tertiary
A decentralized processing network spread out between nerve clusters and hardened low speed hardened processors coupled with high density, slow access storage found in the bones of the unit, these provide an incredibly reliable, if slow fallback should both the primary and secondary processors fail. The mental output of this system is notably sub-par, with slow reaction time, low processing power, and long read times, as such it is unsuitable for performing cognitively demanding tasks. This system is primarily concerned with keeping an up to date record of all personality data, ensuring that unless the body is entirely damaged that there is at least one component with recoverable data.
OS
The core personality, memory, and administrative function are handled by an operating system based on the information systems found in the Kotoku facility, taking advantage of its alternate, effectively unknown computing architecture, and the obfuscation of being an alternate OS to provide security on top of normal encryption, code obfuscation, honey pots, firewalls, and other security measures typically used to keep digital files safe.
Interface & Input Systems
Optical System
It was immediately determined that organic eyes, as well as the default eyes of the SILVER android were unsuitable for the needs of the unit, as such the optional high grade optics made available for the SILVER series that parallel the functionality of a Peeper Sensor Monocle were chosen to provide the flexibility and performance desired in the field. Detected visual information is translated into pulses of light that are fed down fibre-optic threads to the nervous system from there they are routed to the primary, secondary, and tertiary neural systems.
For redundancy and tactical purposes secondary optic systems consisting of a phased array are present in surface tissues allowing for sight anywhere there is a membrane including inside the body. While not as versatile as the eyes, they still provide a high resolution of vision making them useful in the event that the primary optical systems are damaged, or for tactical purposes.
Aural System
The aural sensors present in the default SILVER series android were deemed sufficient as such they have been taken directly using the combination of multi-diaphragm and liquid based audio sensors to provide a wide band of hearing. The only modification has been to the software of the system allowing the unit to use ultrasonic sonar, frequently used for mapping, scanning objects, or active environment monitoring.
Olfactory System
Another system taken from the SILVER the olfactory system is a hybridized synthetic system that is capable of analyzing molecules and processing sensory data into electronic information. Though these systems are twice as effective as a typical Lorath's they are paired with a cybernetic chemical sniffer that allows them to detect chemicals on par with purpose bred scent tracking dogs.
Tactile System

A software addition allows extremely fine vibrations to be detected through the palms or soles of the feet assuming they are planted securely on a surface. This fine detection can be used to map the location of any objects that produce vibrations, as well as track the motion of any that may be mobile giving a general idea of the location, heading, and speed of objects as small as a child from up to 200m away in a solid structure. This detection however requires direct skin contact with an immobile, solid surface that is a part of a building, or otherwise singular object and wearing clothing or shoes will render this useless.

Due to the capacity of the chassis to consume, process, and re-purpose a much larger variety of materials than a Lorath or Helashio, modifications have been made to the taste palate to make otherwise unpleasant foods enjoyable and reward based on molecular composition to encourage the seeking of useful fuels or materials.

Electronic Data Transceiver

Like the SILVER, the chassis features an integrated wireless Electronic Data Transceiver that is used to facilitate basic digital communications with any wirelessly compatible terminals, objects, or systems.
Audio Output System
This system functions much like that of the SILVER, with the exception of an increased focus being placed on sounds near the infrasonic and in the ultrasonic bands. These are used both to simulate a purring sound that is similar to the sound of a large cat or diesel engine that produce sound waves that aid with cell regeneration. The ultrasonic projections are typically paired with the aural system to allow for sonar applications.
Optionally infrasound may be added subliminally beneath normal speech to produce effects of unease, fear, or awe.
Physical Construction
This section details the physical components that make up the chassis.
Physical Structures
The primary physical structure consists of a endoskeleton with a mostly porous structure that is roughly equivalent in form to that of a Helashio, or Lorath. The endoskeleton is is constructed of a boron-carbide foam enclosed in a thin cubic boron-nitride shell that is laminated in a carbon polymer membrane designed to absorb and dissipate impact energy. Small apertures exist in the shell and polymer that allow capillaries to access the marrow-like tissue enclosed within the bone.
The skull has been designed to open allowing the removal of the braincase, to mitigate the structural weakness caused by this modification the opening consists of a series of staggered, overlapping wafers preventing any one point of the skull from collapsing inward when placed under pressure or subject to a sudden impact, with each wafer in the construction sharing its burden with those around it as well as with those in the layers below. Due to the potential weakness created by this modification the braincase itself has been armoured mitigating the threat to processing components.
Another deviation from a typical humanoid body is a complex structure near the pelvis at the base of the spinal column that consists of a supporting structure for eight individual tails, each 1.5m in length.
In boron poor environments damage to the skeleton may be repaired with fullerines and diamond-like carbon in place of boron-carbide, and boron-nitride respectively. While these materials are less stable, carbon is much more abundant in most environments making it a useful stopgap until a source of boron can be secured.
Primary Braincase
The primary braincase is located within the skull and is enclosed in a boron-carbide foam shell, with a polymer coated, boron-nitride laminate. Inner layers are composed of fullerines, polymers, and a reservoir of sheer thickening fluid for shock absorption. This construction is intended to provide the most protection possible from physical, electromagnetic, and radiological hazards. Communication is facilitated through a bundle of optic and nervous fibre, that connects through a sealable port at the bottom-rear of the braincase. It is through this aperture that circulatory vessels, and power lines pass allowing for the maintenance of the hardware contained within.
Notably the exterior of the braincase features a series of micro-cameras, a microphone, and a micro-speaker, that are connected to the interior via clear portions of the braincase which allow optic signals to pass, allowing for passable communication and the observance of its surroundings in the event that it is removed from its host chassis. This can allow for emergency communication, or simply the monitoring of its surroundings to ensure that things are not amiss.
The braincase contains a small backup power system that can keep the processors active in the event of complete failure of external bodily function. This power system is capable of functioning for twelve hours, should no aid occur within the first eleven hours an emergency backup system will activate recording the memories, persona, as well as physical data of the brain on a hardened information storage unit which can be accessed to restore the individual should a new body, or hosting system be procured.
Additionally should the body become compromised by an infection, the braincase is capable of severing connections to the rest of the body and sealing; self isolating to ensure its survival at the cost of being unable to interface with the body.
Secondary Braincase
Like the primary braincase, the secondary braincase features a backup power system, and emergency recording system that records all information to a hardened storage unit in the event of imminent unit failure.
Hot-Swappable Joint System
Maintained from the default SILVER series configuration the chassis has been designed with the capability to disengage its joints allowing for segments of the chassis to be removed, and replaced with ease. Apart from the joints the skull is capable of opening allowing the removal of the cranial braincase streamlining the transfer from one chassis to another.
When this functionality is engaged the tissue surrounding the joint parts, allowing the section of the chassis to be removed without causing damage to the tissues present. Upon the connection of a new component the tissues automatically connect and seal against the new hardware providing seamless connections even between organic, semi-organic, and fully synthetic components.
Tissue Structures
The tissue is a blend of genetically enhanced Helashio tissue that has been cultivated for improved durability, strength, endurance, and regeneration. Supplementing this are bundles of military grade synthetic muscle allowing the performance to be further increased, or to continue functioning should the biological components fail.
The biological tissues have been modified to eliminate the effects of aging, as well as providing an effective immunity to the degrading effects of prolonged low gravity. This ensures that tissues are functioning in an optimal state in almost any environment.
The fatty tissues and skin are a hybridized combination of synthetic and organic components. The organic components are modified cultures sourced initially from Helashio stock featuring rapid recovery, radiation resistance, improved thermal management. The synthetic portion is primarily composed of pico-jelly along with useful molecular components allowing the tissues to shift and self modify.
Subdermal fatty tissues can be re-arranged into infrared redirecting structures similar in function to polar bear fur, that in conjunction with counter-current circulation allows for temperatures as low as -90 C to be endured before shivering sets in to maintain core temperature.
Subdermal pico-jelly reserves can also be redirected to either preform temporary repairs to damaged tissue, aid in long term regeneration, or create cosmetic alterations to physical form.
Most notably, the outer dermal layer contains chromatophores allowing for changes in pigmentation as well as functioning much like OLEDs allowing for multicoloured glowing displays. The resolution provided by the chromatorphores allows for the production of intricate patterns useful for security authentication
Secondary sexual characteristics can be altered to mimic either masculine, feminine, or neuter features (doll like).
While not typically active tissue structures such as sweat glands can be produced as a form of cooling, as well as to produce pheromones, or disperse chemicals and nanomachines. When in function these structures mimic those found in designer Helashio and are typically more pleasant than those found in unmodified biologies.

Mobility System
The mobility system consists of a hybridized arrangement of designer Helashio muscle tissue supported and augmented by synthetic muscle and a modified nervous system.
Precision Motor Control System
Optical Structures
The eyes of the unit inspired by the SILVER android are sheathed in a clear casing to protect them from physical damage. This casing has been treated with a photo-sensitive laminate coating that is designed to temporarily turn the surface of the optical case opaque to prevent the optical unit from receiving damage in the even of exposure to potentially damaging light levels.
Decorative & Functional Hair Follicles
The outer epidermal layer, excluding the palms and soles of the chassis is covered in tiny near invisible hairs that provide additional tactile sensory input, proprioception, and a sensitivity to air currents. On the head, ears, and tail exist thicker, fur like hairs that provide some insulation, though are largely aesthetic in purpose. In the event of exposure to extreme low temperatures the follicles are capable of producing a coat of thicker insulating hairs acting as fur coat.
Cardiovascular
The cardiovascular system is designed to allow for the pumping of blood, materials, nanomachines, and pico-jelly. This system is primarily composed of muscular artery walls that are capable of pumping internal fluids independently, allowing circulation even after wide-spread damage. While the superficial function of a heart may be mimicked for social reasons, there is no need for a centralized pump, eliminating the vulnerability that is typically present from having a heart.
Organs
This section details internal systems that are roughly analogous to vital organs in an organic body.
Bacterial Power Supply Packs
The primary power source for day to day basic functionality is handled by integrated Bacterial Power Supply Packs for similar reasons to the SILVER. A small dedicated pack exists in the cranium? As well a larger quartet exist in the torso physically separated from each other to improve the chances that at least one will survive in the event of internal damage. All of the Bacterial Power Supply Packs are connected to the Organic Material Processing system allowing for materials to be pumped directly into the canisters to increase power output when needed.
CDDA Power Supply
For the purposes of powering high demand systems a CDDA fed hyper-capacitor bank has been installed typically sitting nestled in the pelvis during normal operation where normally organic reproductive and excretory systems would exist. This system has been chosen for its lack of emissions at the cost of operational time. The housing is an 8cm sphere shielded with boron-carbide, with a cubic boron-nitride laminate coated in a stonethread sheath. Superconductive wires branch outward from the core feeding power to all dependant systems. The hypercapacitor bank when fully charged is capable of meeting the demands of an energy intensive power armour for up to 24 hours. As unarmoured combat that lasts this long, or longer is unlikely this limitation has been deemed acceptable.
Rationing of the power expenditure can lengthen the lifespan of the capacitor charge. The recharge cycle is typically 1:1 during regular non-combat operation, this however can be shortened by putting the body into a hibernation state which reduces the charge time to 4 hours.
Notably the power supply like many components has been designed with modularity in mind allowing the possibility of being swapped out with a micro-fusion generator, or QNC should alternative power sources be desired or needed.
Capacitors
Sharing the housing with the CDDA are hypercapacitor storage cells designed to maintain a massive energy density for long periods of time with little bleed off. These capacitors are sheathed in materials designed to capture, or redirect radiated energy for the purposes of minimizing the detectable energy signature and hopefully avoiding the detection of the power system altogether.
Long Term Medical Implant
Most of the organs found in a traditional body have been replaced with the components of a Lorath Long Term Medical Nanomachine implant. This allows the body to maintain itself as well as mimic superficial biological features such as breathing, or a heartbeat. Unlike the organs found in many animals the installed medical implants are capable of self regenerating if damaged allowing for the restoration of function given time and materials. The primary purpose of the implant is to keep the organic tissues present in the body healthy using materials ingested. These are recombined into useful chemicals and then transported as needed throughout the body. Additionally useful chemicals are produce and distributed along with pre-programed nanocompounds and nanomachines for more active effects.
In default operation the Medical Implant regularly produces targeted nanomachines that seek out and repair damaged cells as well as ensuring RNA and DNA integrity in all tissue, repairing any discrepancies. This conveys functional biological immortality to all tissues present in the chassis.
Should it be needed the implant is capable of reprocessing materials withing the body as a closed system. This results in the implant reprocessing organic waste products into electrolytes, protein, and water. Additionally all of the hemolymph in the body that cycles through it will be checked for RNA and DNA integrity while also refreshing mitochondrial functions.
So long as the Medical implant is in good working order many of the internal systems can be repaired or replaced given time making it the one truly vital organ in the body aside from the brain. To this end in the event of catastrophic damage to the body, the medical implant if it survives has been configured to focus its efforts on growing structures to acquire mass, potentially pumps, tubes, roots, leaves, and mycelium or lichen like structures. After securing an income of useful mass and fuel, the implant attempts to reconnect the nervous system and access hardened data storage in either the primary, secondary, or tertiary neural systems from which it will use the last log to reconstruct the body functionally reviving it.
A tertiary use of the implant is to mimic typical humanoid internal biology in some respects for instance; lung like structures exist, though they are used not only for obtaining oxygen for organic tissues, but also work to capture useful molecules and atoms in the atmosphere allowing a potential passive replenishment of mass assuming that breathing is possible, and the atmosphere contains useful materials. Other mimicked structures include simulated primary and secondary structures, a false heart, and humanoid inspired waste excretion structures.
Of note: beyond maintaining the body's physical function and health, the implant can be used to produce recreational compounds assuming that the molecular composition is known.
Synthetic and Organic Material Processing
When ingested, materials such as foodstuffs, formulated fuelling compounds, or less specific mass are routed to the material processing system of the chassis. Primarily its artificial stomach. This system uses a series of selectively administered chemicals and compounds to leech out essential molecular compounds from ingested materials to be routed to organic and inorganic components through an internal circulatory system to sustain components for long terms without maintenance. Surplus materials which could not be processed are often routed to secondary processing by the medical implant or the chassis' bacterial power system to be digested by the unit for electrical power. Left over byproducts are reduced to a liquid and passed through the liquid processing system, or released through a waste port.
Stomach
A synthetic stomach has been installed for social as well as practical reasons. Its primary function is for the breakdown of ingested mass to be reprocessed by the medical implant, allowing for lost material to be replaced. This function in some ways mirrors the capabilities of the SILVER series' matter processing capabilities, though it is capable of producing enzymes or solvents that aid in the breakdown of even the most hardy materials given time, rendering them to their basic molecular, or even atomic form, allowing them to be reprocessed into useful components by the Medical Implant.
Liquid Processing
Like the SILVER fluids of no direct use to the chassis are routed through a structure that works as a water filtration device. Captured impurities are rerouted to the medical implant for processing, while water is supplied to organic tissue components, or aesthetic components such as tear ducts or saliva production systems.
Unlike the SILVER ingested liquids are processed into the chassis' hemolymph parallel before being used to transport materials, regulate temperature, or maintain systems.
Waste Handelling
Much like the SILVER from which many of the systems have been borrowed, the chassis is rather efficient when it comes to material processing, in some ways more so. To this end the chassis in normal function rarely requires waste extraction, however should quantities of undesired material accumulate, the material like in the SILVER is routed to an internal holding chamber where it is compressed and then pumped into a removable, and replaceable, containment receptacle which can be removed and emptied by the chassis.
Biological Analogue
Unlike the SILVER, the chassis with minor internal modification can mimic humanoid excretory practices, which while wasteful and less efficient can help the unit appear more 'natural' in situations where such things may be required, or desired.
Material Production and Recombination
While technically a function of the Long Term Medical Implant, due to the range of various materials found within the chassis and an emphasis on sustainability even in hostile environments, it has been directed to produce a dedicated internal organ which uses strong force manipulation technology to recombine a range of compatible matter into materials required by the android to repair structural components, or to fuel the chassis' system functions. This organ is often fuelled by material ingested by the chassis, and lacks the ability to manipulate highly irradiated or radio-isotope materials such as pre or post processed nuclear fuels, natural radio-isotopes, and some meta-materials thus exceeding the SILVER's capacity to process materials allowing the chassis to ingest matter other than common-place foods.
Repair and Production Organ
To address the need to repair not only organic, but synthetic components a specialized organ-hive exists within the Medical Implant's library that is dedicated to producing repair nanomachines and pico-jelly to both repair components and replenish reserves.
Simulated Reproductive Structures
Though physically neuter by default, the chassis is capable of forming primary and secondary sexual characteristics from an internal library of configurations using the Long Term Medical Implant. These structures can be modified at will, between male, female, hermaphroditic, and the default neuter state. These reproduced structures are functional, and are in many ways identical to their natural counterparts with the sole exception being that they are by design infertile.
Damage Countermeasure System
A number of contingencies have been devised to either reduce or repair damage in the event that it occurs
- liquid buildup and flushing; utilized in the event of burn damages, corrosive material exposure, prolonged pressure against tissues, pathogen introduction, and foreign material contamination.
- Tissue hardening and expulsion; in the event of the presence of foreign material, pathogens, or damaged components, a tissue layer or pico-jelly layer can be formed around the offending material which is then expelled.
- Circulated nanomachines; the chassis includes a quantity of nanomachines in its tissues which are used to reconstruct damaged structures and maintain components.
- Pico-jelly secretion; in the event of physical damage such as external cover rips, fractures, and severed burns, pico-jelly can be secreted to provide a temporary structural component until the chassis can replace the damaged component, or until proper materials can be processed and placed to repair the damage
- Thermal countermeasures system; in the event of exposure to severe temperatures, or if a pathogen must be eliminated through internal heating or cooling, the chassis includes electric heating elements and structural layering mesh to heat or cool the chassis' circulated fluid materials which can elevate the chassis' temperature to 71C or go as low as 100C. Insulated components are unable to be heated or cooled to this temperature, such components include the sensory components of the unit, and the processor/brain of the unit.
- In the event of vacuum exposure pico-jelly floods the orifices of the chassis creating vacuum tight seals to mitigate the effects of vacuum exposure, to prevent damage to external tissues a membrane of protective pico-jelly slowly extrudes over the surface of the body which once complete can be pressurized to function as a low grade pressure suit.
- Though this system is typically disabled, when in friendly territory an emergency beacon may be activated to call for help should the unit be immobilized by damage.
Immune System
The immune system consists of a mixture of organic, engineered lymphocytes which share functions of amebocytes, and archaeocytes; along side nanomechanical compounds produced by the Long Term Medical Implant. To aid in preventing unwanted microbial invasion the hemolymph is anti-septic due to copper present in materials such as hemocyanin molecules making it hostile to most common pathogens. Beyond passively discouraging foreign invasion the hemolymph is designed to clot around foreign objects, often in conjunction with the lymphocytes rapidly isolating and sealing the foreign body. At this point the clot is directed toward surface tissues and purged from the body via the shortest possible route to limit the potential of a threat reintroducing itself to the system. If a threat is deemed harmful enough nanomachines present in the hemolymph will carve a channel between the location of the infection and the surface of the skin to facilitate direct flushing of the infection, during this transit local nanomachines will focus their efforts on destroying any foreign bodies and ensuring that the remains are purged. ???
Temperature Regulation System
The regulation systems found within the chassis are twofold incorporating both thermo-electric temperature regulators and sections of structural layering mesh which are used to keep the chassis at optimal working temperatures. Unfortunately due to the complexity of the structural layering mesh these structures take much longer to repair if damaged severely hampering operational capabilities of the unit until they are repaired.
Pico-Jelly Resevoirs
Much like the SILVER android, surplus reservoirs of pico-jelly exist within the cranium and torso of the chassis to store pico-jelly that is not in use. These reservoirs contain a mixture of organic, plastic, and metallic pico-jelly to ensure available flexibility.
Integrated Systems
These systems are a part of the default chassis, however they are not considered native to the body. As such if damaged they will need external tools and equipment to replace or repair.

Hardened Data Storage
Approximately 1cm in diameter these crystalline data storage matrices are surrounded by alternating layers of boron-carbide and polymer with the intention of providing a secure storage medium in the event of catastrophic damage to the chassis. These data storage nodes are updated in real time with personality, memory, and important data. Emergency storage; 1cm in diameter, is a high density information storage unit composed of several layers of protective materials that improve its chances of surviving incidental damage. This unit is used both as a final resort, and as a continuous backup, performing a constant log of memories, personality, and other vital information to the preservation of the sense of 'self.' This unit is one of the final resorts for the preservation and potential recovery of the individual in the event of death.
Emergency Broadcast System
A structure 4cm in diameter, the Emergency Broadcast System is connected to the Primary Braincase's Emergency Backup Unit. The unit is primarily composed of triply redundant containment for a few grams of anti-matter, and a neutrino broadcast system. Should an event occur in which survival is deemed impossible, or an emergency retreat need to be made, the antimatter is catalyzed fuelling a long range neutrino broadcast aimed at either a home ship or a receiving station. The result of this broadcast is an encrypted stream of neutrinos carrying the personality, memory, and vital data are projected, and the resulting antimatter reaction slags the body destroying all internal components, and any equipment carried or worn. Any individual within 1m of the reaction is likely to die, and out to 5m life threatening burns are inevitable without some form of protective shielding.

Unified Field Manipulation Suite
The most extensive addition to the body was the integration of a power armour grade Unified Field Manipulation suite. The suite allows for mobility, defence, offence, object manipulation, and limited environmental interaction utilizing it's various functions. In order to support this sections of Lorath structural mesh have been included to help remove excess heat generated by the operation of the system keeping the unit optimally cool, while turning nearby atmosphere into a relative furnace.
Typically this is used to provide the ability to float, or fly, by changing the relative orientation of 'down'.
Forearm Plasma Blades
Integrated into the forearms are a pair of mounting units for Lorath Magnetically Contained Plasma Sabres, these contain their own plasma gathering system, and backup power source enabling them to function in the event of the power network being disrupted. Each housing contains sections of Structural Layering Mesh to dissipate heat into the surrounding environment.
When in operation, the skin peels back, revealing the units which extend from the middle of the forearm. Then the structural layering mesh expands increasing its surface area and providing some shielding to the forearm and hand, forming a bracer of sorts. The blade is then projected through an aperture over the dorsal side of the wrist with similar dimensions to the personnel grade model.
Guided Plasma Array
Installed in the lower back is a concealed array of sixteen guided plasma emitters that are used as a precision long range emergency weapons system. When revealed the small cylindrical units snap into place and are used to direct thin streams of plasma at targets within 500m. While the individual emitters are not much more powerful than a small firearm their precision, capacity to be guided to a target, and the ability to focus fire, make them potent weapons.
Assault and Recombination Nanoprobes
Installed under the fingernails are small fabrication hives for Lorath Assault and Recombination Nanoprobes which are used as a defensive measure. These are typically intended to be delivered through superficial wounds, such as scratches, however they may be dispersed into the air in small quantities. These like normal Assault and Recombination Nanoprobes can by controlled via encrypted wireless communications.
Electromagnetic Systems
Laced along the vertebrae of the tails electromagnetic devices have been installed for the purpose of giving the capacity to to redirect, or discharge electrical currents. By altering the output to produce electromagnetic fields instead of a flowing current they may function as a magnetic induction device if coiled around a suitable object.
Sensors
Electromagnetic
A trio of wide band electromagnetic sensors are installed in the chassis' forehead, allow detection of radiation from radio to gamma. They are capable of functioning both as passive sensors and as active units that can function as LIDAR or RADAR units.
Chemical
In the nasal cavity a high precision chemical sniffer has been installed that allows the identification of chemical compounds present in the air down to just a few ppm. This allows for the detection of potentially harmful compounds as well as the capacity to identify the chemical composition of an atmosphere including its particulate components.
Communications Systems
Dedicated communications systems have been installed in the chassis to facilitate digital communications. These systems are secondary to the primary integrated communications suite.
Wireless
A pair of wireless communicators superficially similar to those found in Lorath Personal Communications Systems, though integrated into the body they are isolated by a physical break that cuts power to the units ensuring that they do not provide reliable electronic warfare targets. These are located on each side of the skull where ears would typically be found on a Lorath.
Physical
A quartet of access jacks exist in the back of the neck of the chassis, featuring pico-jelly construction allowing them to accept a large number of male or female wired connections. When not in use these ports are typically covered with pico-jelly mimicking the surrounding skin and are effectively undetectable without extended physical investigation.
Lorath Neural Interface?
Integrated with the primary braincase is a Lorath Neural interface that is used for communication and interfacing with Lorath made electronics systems. The interface has its own dedicated processing unit that runs the Lorath Neural OS.
Electro-Stimulant Pack
While the genetically engineered brain limits the need for the helpful effects of the Electro-Stimulant Pack, one has been installed to help regulate the biological brain, as well as provide a recreational avenue should it be desired.
Nutritional Supply-Pack integration
Located in the right upper arm is a Nutritional supply pack port that allows the insertion of a cylindrical standard Nutritional supply pack, alternatively a port can be provided to allow an IV to be fed into the arm to allow the acquisition of nutrients from an external Supply Pack. When not being interacted with, this is typically covered in a layer of Pico-Jelly rendering it undetectable to casual examination.

HUD
For the purposes of internal systems management, external asset management, security management, cross platform interfacing, research, and entertainment an internalized heads up display overlay exists providing information ranging from names, locations, distances, trajectories, system logs, UIs, and a myriad of other programs and applications either overlaid or put in the 'peripherals' of visual data which can be focused on with a minor mental effort. In events where the internal systems take precedence, the real world can be 'windowed' and left within the workspace to be passively monitored without being the focus, naturally this limits awareness of the surroundings in reality, however it provides an improved workflow for handling digital endeavours.
Awareness Script
This software is designed to pay attention to sensory information that might otherwise be ignored, or overlooked providing visual and audio alerts within the user's HUD to draw attention to important elements, frequently threats during combat, or while occupied with internal HUD elements, though potentially attention may be drawn to useful objects in an environment. The software also has value for cross checking tasks, and functioning as a memory buffer effectively extends short term memory.
Digital Unlife
This software functions as an emergency system allows for continued computer interface in the event that the body dies, or goes into hibernation for up to 48 hours wirelessly or up to 96 hours through a wired connection.1) This allows the body to continue operating in some form when terminally crippled. In the event that the wireless hardware, access-jacks, and/or braincases are damaged irreparably this software obviously will not work.
Loramp
A high quality Lorath sourced media player application typically used to listen to music, or rarely watch video content.
VixenDrowned
A combination universal network browser and communications application cobbled together from various optimized open source projects. Instances are typically used to anonymously connect to communications networks for information gathering, browsing, or corresponding with contacts. The application is written to allow for adaptation to new information networks with minimal work making it useful during travelling. Features a soothing low contrast blue theme, and an adorable vulpine mascot in peril.
Contains parallel processing units that allow the generation of copies of the persona allowing for cognitive multi-tasking: e.g. Combat, research, browsing the net, writing a story
In situations where the biological brain is not able to keep up the parallel processors can work in concert to overclocked the electronic cognitive systems allowing for the relative perception of time to slow. While this allows for increased reaction times, and additional capacity to think, it makes communication with others difficult requiring concentration.
Mnemonic augmentation; records all information taken in by the senses for the purpose of review in the future, the system allows the examination of details and input that were not actively observed at the time, making it useful for cross-examination or espionage.
