====== Esyga Gauss Rounds ======

Esyga Gauss Rounds are manufactured by the [[organization:protectors_of_the_alliance|]] for use in their gauss cannon weaponry. It has been produced for as long as gauss cannons have been produced, which is approximately two hundred years. It has gone through many variants, improving shape, size, and overall effectiveness.

==== Esyga Information ====

The Esyga round is a long cylinder that ends in a very hard point. It is shaped like classic ballistic ammunition though it contains no component parts. The entire round is fired when the trigger is pulled, leaving no case.

Esyga rounds are comprised of a tungsten carbide-cobalt alloy. Tungsten Carbide increases the strength of its cobalt counterpart, while still being magnetic. The weight of the round varies on its size. The tip of the round is much harder than the body of it.

=== 40 mm Esyga ===

  * Damage Rating: ADR 3
  * Size: 5 in (12.7 cm)
  * Caliber: 40 mm, or 1.57 inches
  * Weight: 2.21 lb per round (1 kg)
  * Damage Description: This round is capable of piercing thick armor, inflicting heavy damage.
  * Effective Range: Depends on the weapon it is used in. The round will travel several kilometers however. 
  * Muzzle Velocity: 5000 m/s
  * Muzzle Blast: Bright Flash of white light.
  * Recoil: Heavy Recoil. Not recommended for Non-Raiken.
  * Energy Source: Propelled by magnets, powered by a small fusion core.
  * Typical Magazine Shape: Cylinder

  * Damage Rating: ADR 4/ADR 5 (Weapon Dependent)
  * Size: 8.5 in (21.5 cm)
  * Caliber: 50 mm (1.96 inches)

  * Damage Description: This round is capable of piercing thick armor, inflicting heavy damage.
  * Effective Range: Depends on the weapon it is used in. The round will travel several kilometers however.
