Esyga Gauss Rounds are manufactured by the Protectors Of The Alliance for use in their gauss cannon weaponry. It has been produced for as long as gauss cannons have been produced, which is approximately two hundred years. It has gone through many variants, improving shape, size, and overall effectiveness.
The Esyga round is a long cylinder that ends in a very hard point. It is shaped like classic ballistic ammunition though it contains no component parts. The entire round is fired when the trigger is pulled, leaving no case.
Esyga rounds are comprised of a tungsten carbide-cobalt alloy. Tungsten Carbide increases the strength of its cobalt counterpart, while still being magnetic. The weight of the round varies on its size. The tip of the round is much harder than the body of it.
