+Close Gim friendships involve a lot of physical contact and violence. Getting bloody isn't an uncommon side effect of "hanging out" with a Gima. Romance and courtship are more casual affairs, with Gim not really taking individual partners on a long term basis but more whoever they feel with at the time. It's not uncommon for a group to form over multiple shared partners however, lending to clanlike familial units with no blood relation frequently.
