Frame Running team: 'Tittenfriek'

A dirty soup of Greaseheart harshness, dominant idol culture and Lor's matriarchal beliefs, Tittenfreik are born of a realist expression of Lorath fustration caused by the friction of new cultures so suddenly exploding into their lives over the last thirty years, accelerating technical development further than their culture could keep up with.

The team are funded largely by large Lorath and Greaseheart corporate sponsorships as well as private contributions.

Pilots

The team is headed by biological twins Auba and Yaian: both bio-augmented gigantic egotists with a worrying commonality with one another, often finishing one another's sentences but deliberately in diametrically opposed ways. Their personalities seem to need a third goal or enemy to fixate upon, lest their aggressive attitudes end up pointed at one another: Auba more cool-headed and considered but often in the clouds while Yaian often on the aggressive with better common-sense; each branding cyan and purple respectively.

“Idol” culture is often played up in an ironic and sexually charged satire, often striking direct punches against chased perfectionism with haughty arrogance.

The duo are thought to be ex-LSDF frame pilots with experience centred around deep space combat who were removed from long-term duty due to a number of scandals they prefer not to talk about. Substance abuse is also rife, the two often bragging that “to think on the track is to die, so to climb into the cockpit sober is a death-wish”.

Aesthetic

The look of the team is all black with orange and white with either cyan or purple highlights: a love of smooth flowing hulls an glossy paint jobs. The two themselves wear matching color-inverted custom polished atex pilot-suits, florescent hair styles matching their respective motifs, domino masks, elaborate makeup an almost cartoonish egos. A lucha-style attitude surrounds their identities which they guard secretively: staying off the grid where possible and appearing only as and when it suits them.

Attitude

Wrestling style promotions are the norm, with proclamations an promises either delivered on the track or off the track, often starting fights with the two particularly fond of street-fighting. Off the track, they are known for their elaborate and expensive parties (usually disguised as fund-raising events for sponsorships or an excuse to lure in a person of interest). Their sponsorship interests are largely relating to biological augmentation or inebriates, with the two regularly intoxicated often without those around them knowing.

Rumours of electral romance

While the two thrive in the waters of innuendo and toy with the concept of taboo, a recurring theme throughout their careers has been that of sisterly love: that the two are eloping together or are romantically involved in some way. Their protectiveness and even jealousy of one another is shown to exceed that even seen in orthodox families. According to rumours of culmination, the two will refuse to perform without the other at least present even if only to watch with sex often being described as “competitive”.

Frames

On the track, the two run machines opposing in performance at almost every point outside of raw speed despite almost identical looks: each complimenting the other as the two execute coordinated timed and synchronised manoeuvres as a single unit largely thanks to psionic bonding on their part, usually ganging up on single opponents or moving together through the ranks.
