Organisations

In known space exist a multitude of different organisations all existing for different purposes and functions at different levels of society, business, peacetime and war.

• The Unity Protocol - A sprawling artificial intelligence network responsible for maintaining the cities on the moons orbiting Traveller.
  • Rangers - The Ranger is born of trial-by-fire: Bounty-hunter, soldier, peace-keeper and of course, judge, jury and executioner all rolled into one lone package. Enforcers of an older time, Rangers held law on new expansions of the Unity Protocol in their own flavor, rather than strictly going by the book during UP's establishment.

• Mass Transit - A private group who manage the jump-gates throughout Aleph Null and other distant systems who are responsible for building and maintaining the transit architecture.
• Aleph Rangers - Being all they could be, born of trial-by-fire: Bounty-hunter, soldier, peace-keeper and of course, judge, jury and executioner all rolled into one lone package. Enforcers of the time, Rangers held law on new expansions of the Unity Protocol in their own flavor, rather than strictly going by the book. They served as the civilian half of the unified military during The Old War.
• Sourcia Union Occupied Territories (USSpR)

• Chelti Void Forces - The spaceborne arm of chelti factions, hardened by constant war, and shaped by adversity and surrounded by threats, chelti void forces are in many ways unique in their approach to space combat.
